Shrinklyy - PDF Compressor (“Shrinklyy”, “the App”) is developed by ByteBloomApps (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Shrinklyy, how it is used, and how third-party advertising services may process information.
1. PDF Processing & Your Documents
Shrinklyy’s core PDF functionality is designed to process your documents locally on your device.
PDFs are not uploaded to our servers for compression or processing.
This includes:
Selecting PDF files Reading PDF metadata required by the App Generating PDF previews where applicable Compressing PDFs Creating compressed PDF files
Your PDF files and their contents are not intentionally transmitted to ByteBloomApps for processing.
Compressed files and temporary processing files are stored locally on your device or within the App’s accessible storage/cache areas.
We do not have access to the contents of your PDFs through the App’s normal PDF-processing functionality.
2. Information We Collect
Shrinklyy does not require you to create an account or provide information such as your name, phone number, or email address to use its core PDF-compression functionality.
However, the App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain information for purposes such as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Depending on Google’s current SDK configuration and your device/settings, this may include:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location Device and account identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID where available Information about interactions with the App and advertisements Diagnostic information related to app and SDK performance
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
We do not use the information collected by AdMob to access or process the contents of your PDF documents.

3. Advertising
Shrinklyy uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Advertisements may include banner advertisements and interstitial advertisements.
Google may use information collected through its Mobile Ads SDK to provide, measure, maintain, and improve advertising services, including fraud prevention and advertising-related analytics.
The availability and personalization of advertisements may depend on your device settings, consent choices, location, and applicable laws and regulations.
You can manage certain advertising and privacy settings through your Android device and Google’s available privacy controls.
4. Permissions and Device Access
Shrinklyy requests only the access necessary for its functionality.
Files and PDFs
The App uses Android’s file-selection mechanisms to allow you to select PDFs for compression and to create/store compressed files.
The App does not require access to all files on your device merely to perform PDF compression.
Internet Access
Internet access is used primarily for:
Loading advertisements through Google AdMob Accessing online resources such as the Shrinklyy website, privacy policy, or support links
PDF files are not uploaded to our servers for compression.
5. Local Storage and Temporary Files
Shrinklyy may create temporary files, cached preview files, and compressed PDF files while you use the App.
These files are stored locally on your device.
Temporary/cache files may be removed when you use the App’s Clear Cache functionality or when the Android operating system manages application storage.
You are responsible for managing or deleting exported/downloaded files that you choose to keep on your device.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because Shrinklyy does not require an account, we do not maintain a user account database containing your personal information.
PDF files processed by Shrinklyy remain on your device unless you choose to delete them or the operating system removes temporary/cache data.
We do not retain your PDF documents on our servers because PDF processing is performed locally on your device.
Information processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob is subject to Google’s own retention and deletion practices and policies.

7. Crash and Diagnostic Information
Shrinklyy may rely on information provided by Android or integrated third-party services to identify technical problems and improve reliability.
Where diagnostic information is processed by a third-party SDK, that information is handled according to the third party’s applicable privacy policies.
We do not intentionally include the contents of your PDF documents in diagnostic information or advertising requests.
8. Third-Party Services
Shrinklyy currently uses third-party services, including:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — used to display advertisements and provide advertising-related services.

9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Shrinklyy.
PDF processing is performed locally on your device rather than being uploaded to our servers.
Data transmitted by Google’s Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit according to Google’s documentation.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children’s Privacy
Shrinklyy is not specifically designed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.
The App does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use its core PDF-compression functionality.
If our target audience or advertising configuration changes in the future, we will update our practices and this Privacy Policy as necessary to comply with applicable Google Play policies and laws.
Important: your Play Console Target Audience declaration must actually match this statement. If you select an audience that includes children, additional Google Play Families requirements can apply to your advertising implementation.

You can:

Where legally required, Google may provide additional privacy and consent controls through its services.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Shrinklyy, our services, third-party services, or applicable legal and platform requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this policy.
