Does Speedometer work without an internet connection?

Yes. Speed runs on GPS, so it works offline. The only connections the app makes are for ads (free version) and purchase validation (Pro), both handled by Google.

Does Speedometer track me in the background?

No. Location is read only while the app is open and in active use. When the app is closed, location access stops immediately.

How do I remove ads?
